Orris root is the centre of this oil, which stays clean and powdery. Bergamot and pink pepper brighten the start, freesia and Madagascar ylang-ylang add a soft floral glow to the heart, and musk, amber woods and tonka bean give the base a clean, woody-sweet finish. A man can wear it at the office or on a casual day in spring and summer; projection is moderate, and it lasts well. Priced by weight, Orris Veil is pure oil with no alcohol.
