Genius

Blackberry, frankincense and labdanum over honey, cinnamon and clove, deepening into oud, myrrh and ambergris.

Blackberry and orange meet frankincense and labdanum in the opening, with coriander seed and tarragon adding a green, spiced edge. Honey, cinnamon and clove lead a resinous heart, shaded by guaiac wood, rose and bay leaf. Oud, opoponax and myrrh anchor the base, deepened by ambergris, patchouli and cedarwood. A dense oriental for men in autumn and winter, for formal evenings and special occasions, with moderate projection. Genius has no alcohol; it is pure oriental oil, sold by net weight.
